A new day dawned and brought with it the thickest blanket of dew we had experienced thus far, the inside of the tent’s front room positively dripping with condensation. I’m not sure if it was the general humidity of Narooma, or its proximity to the water, but it was drenched. This, of course, wouldn’t have been a problem if we hadn’t needed to pack the damn thing up. Sufficed to say, we weren’t the happiest of campers as we crammed our bundles of soggy canvas back into their respective bags and trundled off down the road. Still, there was adventures to be had, so we tried not to let it faze us too much.
First stop for the day, rather unexcitedly, was the post office to drop off my broken laptop and send it on its way so that I might eventually come into possession of a replacement. With this nonsense out of the way, we headed north until we reached the town of Bodalla.
We hadn’t planned on stopping, but my eye was caught by the sign for Bodalla Dairy Shed, or more specifically its offering of cheese and ice cream. The sun was shining, and that was a good enough reason for me, so we pulled up and wandered over. Now, this place obviously got the memo that the best way to boost sales is to provide samples, and thus I tried their selection of flavoured, aged, and smoked cheddars, and came away…
