I've been writing travel blogs for years now and have struggled to get anywhere near the 100 followers even with many curated blogs and being a top writer in travel multiple times. I signed up to the partnership program before they changed the rules, but its sad to know I'll be kicked out of it if I can't reach their quota come the end of December.
